Pavel, my understanding is concise. But, I am discussing it here in general - to applying to Universal Rules.
I, of course, am not going to list my specific Algorithms and Programming here.
I agree with much that you say in needing Goals.
But also needed are: Procedures, Concepts, Ideas, etc
-- is True.
-- This is questionable. You can think about or imagine , without doing (like giving up) - so there is no (applied) means...
I generally agree with your statements here.
But, I also think that we need to think broadly, in competition: Tasks, Goals, Tests.
Maybe, we can have a standard way of presenting Goals, in simple English.
Also, we do need a basis of World / Test / Goal references.
Are we saying that the AI Algs start with no Language knowledge ?
Maybe each test should introduce a minimum set of Vocab / Terms known beforehand .. ?
We still only have a vague idea on actual Tests.
How should the tests be presented ?
Some Tests ,
I have already suggested :
1) Answering traightforward questions.
2) Presenting paragraph context, then answering questions afterwards,
3) Image Recognition
Others might be :
4) Presenting 1 line of Ordered characters, then a second line of characters, and let the AI rearrange the 2nd row - following the first row's Order (like in psych tests).
